    At Plastic Glass Hire, we prioritize the quality and safety of our glassware. Most of our products meet CE standards for the sale of Alcohol (please contact us for specific details). The plastic material used is food-grade and complies with ISO 9001-2000 UKAS standards. Please note that our plastic glassware may exhibit slight marks or scratches due to regular use, although we regularly update our stock. To maintain the quality, we advise against using scouring pads when washing the glasses.
  • Glass Return and Cleaning - Do I Need to Wash the Glasses Upon Return?
    No, it's not necessary. In fact, we recommend against washing them to prevent potential damage from scouring pads. Simply ensure that all items, such as fruit, are removed from the glassware.
  • Placing an order
    To place an order, please use our convenient online system. For a quote, the online system will calculate the postage for you. Note that we may require a deposit to cover any lost or broken glasses, with the amount varying based on the order size.
  • Payment and Shipping
    Full payment is required before items can be shipped. Any unreturned or damaged items will incur a charge of £1.80 per item, except for Martini and Regal Pint Glasses, which will be charged at £3.80. This charge will be deducted from the deposit. Should the deposit not cover the charges, we reserve the right to bill the remaining amount. We will make every effort to contact you before any charges are applied.
  • Deposits
    After placing your order, we may request a deposit, which can be conveniently paid online. Deposit amounts vary based on the order size, typically ranging from £50 to £100. Deposits are refunded within 1-2 days of receiving the glasses back, less any fees for missing or damaged items.
  • Delivery and Collection
    We offer delivery across mainland UK. For small orders, we use courier services with a prepaid return label for convenient drop-off at any post office. Larger orders may be delivered and collected by our team.
  • Rental Duration
    Typically, we deliver 1-3 days before your event and collect 1-2 days afterward, factoring in weekends and bank holidays.
  • Pick-Up and Drop-Off
    Yes, you can arrange for pick-up or drop-off. Our location is in Cheltenham, please contact us for further details.
  • VAT Registration
    We are currently not VAT registered.
  • Delivery Guarantee
    While we dispatch parcels a few days before your event, we cannot be held responsible for courier delays or transit damages. To ensure timely receipt, consider collecting the glasses from our depot.
